Be relevant, or else!

The secret of a successful email campaign is to get into your reader’s heads. 🧠

Give them what they want and when they want it. 😍

Nobody has time for generic content and boring paragraphs.
We are all busy and have a short temper, and the spam button is so dangerously accessible.

(okay, maybe that’s just me, but who can relate? I see you all nodding 😈)

❓❓ What do your subscribers want, though?

Let’s find out. 🤓

🟢 Add 3 links to posts you wrote, each of a different topic, in your next email.

🟢 Set each link as a trigger link.

🟢 When they click, assign them a tag (or any other option your ESP has to create segments).

✅ Now you have 3 new lists organised by topic.

❇️ Start sending those lists the content they asked for by showing you what link attracted their attention the most.

❓❓What if they click all the links? 😰

That is great, actually.

Send them what they want and monitor which link has been clicked the most.

This metric gives you an idea of what your list prefers and sets the tone for your next campaigns.

⛔️ Warning ⛔️: this experiment must be repeated regularly, or your content will become as boring as that meeting that should have been an email!
