Don't sell sushi to Japanese people

If you’re not familiar with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, your messaging will never resonate. ☠️

Here is how to read the pyramid:

• It starts at the bottom and goes to the top, and you can’t be on more than one level at the same time.

• If your physiological needs are met, you can only go upward.

• Same as for safety: if that need has been met, onto the next need.

And so on.

Now, imagine offering products and services that cover the other three levels: Social, Self-esteem and Self-Actualization.

If your audience struggles with physiological or safety needs, they will never understand how you can solve their problems. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tell someone who just lost their home to hustle hard so they can be an authority in their field and buy their dream condo. 😒

You would sound like an a-hole. 💩

They need to make enough money to get off the streets, not tactics to hit a 50k month.

➤➤➤➤ Why is all of this particularly important at this moment?

Because the majority of people all over the world are now terrified, at a loss, stressed, frustrated and unsafe.

Once again, imagine wanting to teach people who just got laid off how to be entrepreneurs. ❌

They are petrified with fear.
Shocked, worried, defeated.

How can they build a level 5 (self-actualisation) when thrown back at level 2 (safety)?

You don’t need more skills to resonate with your customers.

✅ You need to know human psychology and stop listening to people who have always lived on level 5 because they don’t understand what it takes to climb the pyramid.

In conclusion: empathy can solve all your content issues more than any course or mastermind you will ever buy or advice you will ever get.

If you are at level one, two or three and want to chat, my DMs are always open. 🙏🏻
